Day 03: Morning Visit Memorial Chorten, a huge Stupa built in memory of the third King of Bhutan who reined the Kingdom from 1952-1972; Visit the National Library where ancient manuscripts are preserved; Visit Painting School where traditional art is still kept alive through instruction in the art of painting Thangkas (Sacred Buddhist scroll); visit Handicrafts Emporium where Bhutanese textiles and other arts are displayed and can be purchased. Afternoon Visit Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortresses in Bhutan which was built in 1629 AD; visit Tashichho Dzong, which houses Headquarters of most the Government Ministries, the office of the King and the Throne Room. Day 04: Drive to Punakha, through the Dochula pass (Alt. 3050 Metres). If the weather is clear, you will have spectacular view of the eastern Himalayan range. Continue drive to Punakha and check into Hotel. Afternoon sightseeing of Punakha valley, the former Capital of Bhutan. Punakha Dzong, the highlight of the valley lies between the two rivers Phochu and Mochu. The Dzong now houses the District Administration office and is the winter residence of the monastic body and its chief abbot. It was built in 1637 AD. Visit Wangdiphodrang Dzong, which is 13 km. from Punakha. Wangdiphodrang Dzong and its small town are perched on a hill between two rivers. Day 05: Drive to Trongsa, on the way view of Chendebji and Rukubji village, picnic lunch on the way. Overnight stay in a hotel./Guest House.

Day 06: Early breakfast and sightseeing of Trongsa – view of Trongsa Dzong and the Taa Dzong. Trongsa Dzong is the biggest Dzong in Bhutan and is the ancestral home of the ruling dynasty. It now houses the district administration office. Built at split-levels, the Dzong fits narrowly on a spur that sticks out into the gorge of River Mangdechu and overlooks the routes south and west. Taa Dzong, watchtower of the Dzong in the former days, displays many interesting armors used by the Bhutanese soldiers during those days. After lunch, drive to Bumthang. Day 07: Full day sightseeing - visit Jakar Dzong, Jambay Lhakhang, Kurjee Lhakhang, Thamsing and Kencho Sum Lhakhang, Swiss Farm, Bumthang sheep farm, Diary farm & Juice factory. Overnight stay in a hotel..

Day 08: Drive to Gangtey. Afternoon, sightseeing of Gangtey & Phoibjikha valley. Overnight Guest House.

Day 09: Trek to Gogona Three day easy trek, the trail winds through meadows and fields, climbs through mixed forest of Juniper, bamboo, magnolia and rhododendron through the Tselele pass, altitude 3320 meters. Riding horses can be provided, if required. Overnight camp, distance 14 Kms, approximate time 5-6 hours.

Day 10: Trek Gogona-Khotokha A gentle climb leads to Shobjula pass, altitude 3390 Meters and descend to a wide valley, reminiscent of the big sky views of the mountains. Overnight Camp, distance 16km, approximate time 6-7 hours.

Day 11: Trek-Chuzomsa A short ascend will bring you to Tashila pass, altitude 2780 Meters, descend down and walk through an ever-changing landscape into the drainage of Dangchu river, continue walk till the road head.
