Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive Delhi
(R) Arrival in New Delhi before or after midnight. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
(R) Morning free. Afternoon guided tour of New Delhi. Visit India Gate, drive past President House, Qutab Minar & Humayun's tomb. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi
(R) - Morning guided tour of old Delhi covering Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat etc. After lunch go for shopping or additional sightseeing. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Delhi/Jaipur
(B, L, D) Connect morning train to Jaipur (4 hr.). Afternoon guided tour of Jaipur City covering City Palace, Palace of winds & Jantar Mantar (Observatory). Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: Jaipur/Agra
(B, L, D) Morning tour of Amber Fort on the elephant back. Post noon, drive to Agra (6 hr.) visiting Fatehpur Sikri enroute. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 06: Agra/Nainital
(B, L, D) Full day guided tour of Agra visiting Taj Mahal (Monday closed), Red Fort, Itmad-ud-daulah and Sikandra. Connect train in the evening to Lal Kuan (railhead for Nainital). Overnight in an air-conditioned sleeper train.
Day 07: Nainital
(B, L, D) Arrive Lal Kuan in the morning and transfer to Nainital (3 hr.) through the Himalayan terrain. Leisurely walks to China peak to see the panoramic Himalayan views, boating in Naini Lake, birding at Kilbury. Overnight hotel.
Day 08: Nainital/Betalghat
(B, L, D) Leisurely drive through the hills to Betalghat (3 hr.). Betalghat is a paradise for Golden Mahsheer anglers and birders. Overnight at the safari lodge.
Day 09: Betalghat
(B, L, D) Full day at leisure. One can opt for short trek, angling, horse riding, birding etc. Overnight at the lodge.
Day 10: Betalghat/Corbett National Park
(B, L, D) -Drive in the morning to Corbett National Park (3 hr.) stopping enroute for wildlife and birding. Afternoon drive in the park for tiger tracking. Overnight at Camp.
Day 11: Corbett National Park
(B, L, D) Morning elephant ride through the jungle for animal viewing. Afternoon jeep safari to another section of Corbett Tiger Reserve. Overnight at Camp.
Day 12: Corbett National Park/Rishikesh
(B, L, D) Drive to the Leopard Beach Camp (7 hr.) at Shivpuri for white water rafting. Overnight stay at the camp in the Swiss Tents.
Day 13: Rishikesh
(B, L, D) Full day rafting on river Ganga staring from Kaudiyala and terminating at Rishikesh. Drive back to the camp. Overnight stay at the camp in the Swiss Cottage Tents.
Day 14: Rishikesh/Delhi
(B, L, D) - Raft down from the camp to Rishikesh and drive back to Delhi (5 hr.). Connect flight to onward destination.
