Itinerary
Day 01: Chennai
Arrive Chennai - Hotel check-in is at 12.00 noon. Assistance on arrival by our representative and transfer to the hotel.
Day 02: Chennai/Kanchipuram/Mahabalipuram
This morning we visit Kanchipuram, famous for its brilliant Kanjivaram silk sarees. Continue onto Mahabalipuram. Check in to the hotel. Later visit the famous rock-cut and shore temples.
Day 03: Mahabalipuram/Pondicherry
We leave for the Old Portuguese township of Pondicherry. Visit the Aurobindo Ashram and other sights before checking in at the hotel. In the afternoon take an excursion to Auroville, a powerful happening of international integration.
Day 04: Pondicherry/Velankanni/Thanjavur
Leave for the shrine of Our Lady at Velankanni, which like Lourdes in France is renowned for miraculous healing. Visit the inspiring Basilica of Our Lady of Good Health. Continue onto Thanjavur and check in at the Hotel.
Day 05; Thanjavur/Tiruchirappalli/Swamimalai
This morning we visit the Temple at Thanjavur and continue to Tiruchirappalli. Visit the Temple and Rock Fort and continue onto Swamimalai. On arrival, check-in at the hotel.
Day 06: Swamimalai
Your hotel in Swamimalai is an old heritage property. You can also benefit from the traditional Ayurvedic herbal massage and treatment on your own and visit the bronze crafts factory walking distance from your hotel.
Day 07: Swamimalai/Chennai
This morning we return to Chennai. The evening is at leisure.
Day 08: Chennai
Departure Hotel check-out is 12.00 noon. Later transfer to the airport for your onward flight to depart India.
