Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive Jabalpur
Arrival at the Marbel city and you will be received at the Airport/Railway station and transferred to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure and in the evening we shall proceed for excursion to "Bheraghat (Marble Rocks)"and enjoy the romantic boat ride and "Dhuandar Falls". Over night at the hotel.
Day 02: Jabalpur/Amarkantak
This, in spite of the fact that two sacred rivers are born here: the Sone and the Narmada. We shall take morning cozy drive to Amarkantak which is spreading over a flattish green valley in the Vindhya ranges, at a pleasantly cool elevation of 1065 meters, it is still more a hamlet than a town. It really is more like a green sub- mountain resort with wide-open, well watered, meadows and sunlit sal forests alive with springs and brooks. We reach the town in the evening . Over night at the hotel.
Day 03: Amarkantak
We shall proceed to see all the natural wonders attracting you at this place of pure and sacred thoughts. We shall see the 10th century temples and the place were river Narmada has born. Over night at the hotel.
Day 04: Amarkantak / Bandhavgarh
We shall take morning drive to deciduous of Bandhavgarh. Set amidst the Vindhyan ranges, the Park has a series of ridges running through it. Known as white tiger country, this is a small National park, compact yet full of game. The density of tiger population at BANDHAVGARH is the highest known in India. We check-in the Jungle lodge. Evening to gather around the bonfire and watch the tribal dances around the fire. Over night at the hotel.
Day 05: Bandhavgarh
We shall set out for the adventurous trial on the elephant back and spot the tigers in the national park. Also we take view of various forms of wildlife existing in the park.
Day 06: Bandhavgarh
We will proceed to see Bandhavgarh Fort of this wildlife retreat, where history and nature meet. Over the Bandhavgarh hills, dominating the park stands Bandhavgarh Fort on the highest point, thought to be some 2000 years old. We also see the numerous prehistoric caves rich with shrines and ancient Sanskrit inscriptions, which are scattered through out park and particularly around the fort. Over night at the hotel.
Day 07: Bandhavgarh / Khajuraho
We shall drive to Khajuraho. Arrival and check-in the hotel. The day at leisure admiring the natural beauty of Khajuraho. Over night stay at the hotel.
Day 08: Khajuraho
We proceed for to see the kingdom of the Chandellas--the Moon Dynasty. We see the Erotic temples of Khajuraho - India's unique gift to the world. The most remarkable feature of the Khajuraho temples is their sculpture, which supplements the architecture and breaks the monotony of the viewer with ravishing elegance, rippling beauty and earthly sensuousness. It is strange but true that where we expect the figure of god and goddess, we find the sculpture of a couple engaged in most copula scene of love. Over night at the hotel.
Day 09: Khajuraho/Departure
You will be transferred to the airport/railway station for your onward journey. The Tour ends.
