Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Assistance on arrival by our representative and transfer to your hotel. Hotel check-in is in 12.00 noon.
Day 02: Delhi/Amritsar
Enjoy a tour of Delhi visiting driving past the Presidential Palace, India Gate, the Jamma Masjid and Red Fort. Visit Raj Ghat and the Qutab Minar. Take the afternoon train to Amritsar.
Day 03: Amritsar
This morning visit the Golden Temple and Jallianwalla Bagh. In the evening take an excursion to the India Pakistan Border post at Wagha and witness the closing of the Gates ceremony (subject to permission)
Day 04: Amritsar/Jammu /Srinagar
Early this morning leave for Jammu to connect the flight to Srinagar. On arrival in Srinagar transfer to your Deluxe Houseboat. In the evening enjoy Shikara ride on the Dal Lake. Overnight on the Houseboat.
Day 05: Srinagar
This morning enjoy a visit to the Mughal Gardens. The afternoon is at leisure.
Day 06: Srinagar/Delhi /Agra
Take the morning flight to Delhi. You are met on arrival and proceed to Agra. The evening is free.
Day 07: Agra/Jaipur
Enjoy a visit to the world famous Taj Mahal and a massive Agra Fort. In the afternoon you drive to Jaipur enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri.
Day 08: Jaipur
This morning you visit the Hawa Mahal on your way to Amber Fort. Enjoy an elephant ride upto the Fort. In the afternoon take a tour of Jaipur city visiting the City Palace and the Astrological Observatory.
Day 09: Jaipur/Udaipur
Take the day train to Udaipur. Day at leisure.
Day 10: Udaipur
Take a tour of Udaipur visiting the Sahelion ki Bari, Fatehsagar Lake and City Palace. In the afternoon enjoy an excursion to the temples at Nagada and Eklingji.
Day 11: Udaipur/Aurangabad
Morning fly to Aurangabad. In the afternoon take an excursion to the rock-cut temples at Ellora Caves.
Day 12: Aurangabad
Enjoy a full day excursion to the cave temples and monasteries at Ajanta.
Day 13: Aurangabad/Mumbai
The morning is at leisure. Take the afternoon train to Mumbai.
Day 14: Mumbai
Enjoy a boat ride (in season) across the harbour to the rock cut temples on the Island of Elephanta. In the afternoon take a tour around Mumbai city seeing Marine Drive, Flora Fountain, Malabar Hills, Victoria Terminal and other prominent buildings.
Day 15: Mumbai/Goa
Board the morning flight to Goa. The afternoon is at leisure on the beach.
Day 16: Goa
Enjoy a half/day tour of Goa visiting also the Church of Bom Jesus. The afternoon is at leisure on the beach.
Day 17: Goa/Bangalore
Take the flight to Bangalore. The evening is free to go "Pub Hopping" on your own.
Day 18: Bangalore/Hassan
Morning drive to Hassan. In the afternoon visit the temples at Belur and Halebid.
Day 19: Hassan/Mysore
In the morning you drive to Mysore. In the afternoon visit the Mysore Palace and the Nandi Bull statue.
Day 20: Mysore/Ooty
This morning drive through Ooty. In the afternoon take in the sights of Ooty including the famous Botanical Gardens.
Day 21: Ooty/Cochin
This morning you drive through the scenic Nilgiri Hills and the Western Ghats to Cochin, on the shores of Arabian Sea.
Day 22: Cochin
Today enjoy a tour of Cochin City visiting the Bolgatty Palace, Chinese Fishing Nets and the Jewish Synagogue. The afternoon is at leisure.
Day 23: Cochin/Kovalam
Leave this morning for Kovalam enroute enjoy a cruise on the Kerala backwaters, gliding past tall palms and quaint villages.
Day 24: Kovalam
Full day at leisure on the Beach. In Kovalam you may on your own benefit from the traditional Ayurvedic treatment and massage perfected over ages of Indian civilization.
Day 25: Kovalam/Chennai
In the morning is at leisure. Later transfer to Trivandrum Airport in time for the afternoon flight to Chennai
Day 26: Chennai
Enjoy a full day excursion to Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram.
Day 27: Chennai/Kolkata
Take a tour of Chennai visiting Marine Beach, Fort St. George and other places of interest. In the evening board the flight to Kolkata.
Day 28: Kolkata/Patna
This morning you visit the Flower Market, home of Mother Teressa and the Victoria Memoria. Take the overnight train to Patna.
Day 29: Patna/Bodhgaya
On arrival in Patna, continue onto Bodhgaya enroute you will visit the Buddhist sites at Nalanda and Rajgir.
Day 30: Bodhgaya
Enjoy a visit to the Mahabodhi Temple. Today is a free day to visit temples & monasteries of your choice.
Day 31: Bodhgaya/Varanasi
This morning you travel to Varanasi. The evening is at leisure.
Day 32: Varanasi
Enjoy an early morning boat ride on River Ganges. Take a tour of Varanasi city visiting the Hanuman Temple, Benaras Hindu University and the Bharat Mata Temple. In the afternoon take an excursion to Sarnath and visit the Museum.
Day 33: Varanasi/Khajuraho
Take the flight to Khajuraho. The evening is at leisure.
Day 34: Khajuraho
Enjoy a full day visiting the Chandela temples.
Day 35: Khajuraho/Delhi
Leave for Jhansi in time to board your train to Delhi. En-route visit the temples and palaces at Orchcha.
Day 36: Delhi
Hotel checkout 12.00 noon. Transfer to airport in time for your onward flight. Bon Voyage!
