Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive Cochin
Arrive & transfer check-in to the Hotel Trident - Lunch at the hotel. charming low-rise building located on Willingdon Island. The afternoon is free to relax. Evening, enjoy a sunset cruise.
Day 02: Cochin
After breakfast, a half-day City sightseeing, visiting the Jewish Synagogue, built over 400 years ago, containing beautiful Belgiang paved with hand-painted tiles from China; the Dutch Palace with its wonderful murals depicting the entire story of the Ramayanas; St. Fr. First European church built in India (16th Century)& the original burial site of Vasco Da Gama; the Chinese fishing nets a bordering the Cochin. Afternoon at leisure Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Cochin/Kumarakom
After breakfast, transfer to Kumarakom. Lunch at the Resort. Afternoon Relax at the Resort. Evening, free for a sunset cruise in a houseboat. Dinner and overnight at the Resort.
Day 04: Kumarakom/Munnar
After breakfast, transfer to Munnar - Lunch at the Resort, afternoon visit Rajamalai in the Eravikulam National Park to view the famous Nilgiri Tahr (mounting goat). Dinner and overnight at the Resort.
Day 05: Munnar/Thekkady
Enjoy and early morning walk & take in the scenic beauty of this hill town. After breakfast at the Resort, proceed to Thekkady Lunch at the Resort. Afternoon guided tour of a spice plantation Dinner and overnight at the Resort.
Day 06: Thekkady
After an early breakfast, a 4-hour jungle trek, returning for lunch to the resort. Afternoon a two hour boat ride at the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. During the Boat ride on Lake Periyar, spot the wild Indian Gaur, monkeys, spotted deer, barking deer, wild boar and birds of myriad varieties. With an area of 77 Sanctuary lies at an elevation of 914 mts. Above sea level in the hills of the Western Bhats.
Day 07: Thekkady/Kovalam
After breakfast, transfer to Kovalam: an enchanting beach resort. You're your self into hotel and enjoy the sun at sandy beaches. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08: Kovalam
Day to relax at beaches. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09: Kovalam/Cape Comorin/Kovalam
Take a same day return trip to Cape Comorin. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10: Kovalam
Day to relax at beach. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11: Kovalam/Trivandrum/Departure
Transfer to airport to take the flight to Trivandrum from where you will take connecting flight to onward destination.
