Lhasa - Mt. Kailash - Lhasa Tour
Day 01 Arrive in Lhasa [D]: Meet your local guide at Gonggar Airport and drive along the Yurlong Tsangpo River, arrive in Lhasa city and rest for acclimatization.
Day 02-03 Sightseeing in Lhasa: Potala palace, Jokhang temple,Norbulingka park and Sera monastery. [B/L/D]
Day 04 Lhasa - Gyantse [B/L/D]: Drive 300km paved road to Gyantse, a famous historical town in Tibet, en-route, you will cross the Karo La Pass (5010m) and the Khamba La Pass (4800m) with a beautiful panorama of the Yamdrok Yumtso Lake and Karo La glacier. This afternoon, visit Pelkhor Monastery and its Kumbu Stupa.
Day 05 Gyantse - Shigatse[B/L/D]: Drive 90km well-paved road to Shigatse, the second largest city in Tibet. one the way you can take a chance to Shalu monastery. This afternoon, visit Tashilumpo Monastery.the residence of Panchen Lama.
Day 06 Shigate - Saga[B/L/D]
Day 07 Saga - Paryang [B/L/D]
Day 08 Paryang - Mansarovar [B/L/D]
Day 09 Lake Mansarovar [B/L/D]: Rest and explore around the Lake, it is one of three most sacred lakes in Tibet. Most of pilgrams will come here first before their Kora.
Day 10 Manasarovar - Darchen [B/L/D]: Drive to Darchen (Base Camp of Mt. Kailash). Preparate Yaks and Yak man for the next 3 days Kora around Mt. Kailash.
Day 11 DarchenšC Diraphuk via Tarboche (5hours) [B+L+D]:
Day 12 Dhirapuk šC Zuthulpuk (20 Km) via Dolma pass (5637mts) (Day 2) (5hours) [B+L+D]
Day 13 Zuthulpuk – Darchen [B+L+D]
Day 14 Darchen - Paryang[B+L+D]
Day 15 Paryang - Saga[B+L+D]
Day 16 Saga - Shigatse[B+L+D]
Day 17 Shigatse—Lhasa [B+L+D] (186miles, 7 hrs) (B): Drive to Lhasa via new road that runs parallel to the Yarlung Tsambo River. The road is rough and rehabilitation work is going on. If time permits, you will stop by Yundrungling Monastery in Tradruk. Check in hote and take rest for the day. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 18 after your breakfast drive to the airport, say goodby to your guide nnd take flight to your next destination.[B]
